You are sooooooooo bad. You worked retail and you went into a store after it closed!!! You know how those people want to go home. You used to be those people and now you pull this on someone. Ohhhhhh man.
You have a very valid point and honestly we were ready to leave, but Chad was so inviting and so genuine in his desire for us to stay that we couldn’t resist. He really was interested in making us feel comfortable which is something greater than we even had when we worked retail. He was such a real person that it was disarming and it seemed like a good excuse to just talk with him as a person and not just a sales clerk. There is a lesson there for us as well.
